American musical accessories company is looking for a Market Development Manager located in Beijing. His or her role will be responsible for sales and marketing in China marketing our products directly to musicians, including artist relations engagement; managing our sales network, including sales staff training for retail and wholesale sales personnel; and surveying the market on a regular basis.  This person will also serve as the liaison between our corporate headquarters in the United States and OEM factories to whom our products are supplied.  In order to best represent our business and demonstrate our products, we seek a diverse musician (Guitar player and/or drummer) who is comfortable in many styles of music from rock to classical, and who is also very well versed with social media, including related networks and forums. He or she will need to have in depth knowledge of the music/bands and performers within China.  This person must be fluent in English and have Chinese as a mother language.  2-3 years of related experience and a degree in Sales, Marketing, or Music would be optimal.  This is a home office based position with 50% travel required.  For immediate consideration email us your resume and salary history at Valerie.julliot@daddario.com
